Save A Life - Adopt           Vaccinate Your Pets

Hear our prayer O Lord....
for animals that are overworked, underfed, and cruelly treated;
for all wistful creatures in captivity that beat their wings against bars;
for any that are hunted or lost or deserted or frightened or hungry;
for all that must be put to death...And for those who deal with them we ask
a heart of compassion and gentle hands and kindly words.

Petey   Petey

4/18/07 My niece rescued Petey and wants us to help her find a home for him. He is 6 or 7 years old. My niece says, "He's an awesome dog that loves to be cuddled and petted. He also loves kids! He's about 6 or 7 years old, but he plays like he's still a puppy." Please help us find Petey a good home.

There are several dogs at the City Dog Pound who need homes desperately! Please consider these dogs if you are looking for a new Best Friend.

If interested in any of these pets please contact us!

We would like to thank WGEL Radio in Greenville for all their help in helping to find homes for the dogs at the Greenville/Bond County dog pound. In addition to advertising our website on the radio, Ellie Kennedy and Julia Jenner, Greenville's Tourism Director, put pictures of the dogs on Channel 3, the local cable channel. Several dogs have found good homes because of their efforts.

A big THANK YOU! from Bond County Adopt-A-Pet and the dogs that you have helped save.
May God Bless You.

Horrizontal Rule

When the cause of all great things
Left man to evolve with time,
He built in a lesser body
A fragment of love divine.
To give to the poorest beggar
The love that makes him a king;
And kiss the hands that are empty
When fortunes and friends take wing.
As a name for this small creature
Reflecting the love of God
Man spelled his Creator backwards,
And called this small likeness DOG.
