(An email from the folks who adopted the little cocker mix above on the right)
Hi everyone, We adopted Sunshine..remember, we came from Oak Park. Well,it was well worth the trip!!! He is the most affectionate dog I have ever known!! He always gives us hugs...(he wraps his front legs around ours when we get home). He always has to be picked up like a baby....patted on the butt many times and then he HAS to have the 1..2...3...and then we throw him on the bed. It is a ritual every day. He knows what mommy and daddy means.................
We would like to adopt another dog, a companion for Sammy(Sunshine)..a little girl. Sammy is about 19 lbs....so she needs to be same or smaller. He just loves other dogs. Thank you again for our little guy. We just do not know what we would do without him.
Thank you soooooooooo much for him.

We would like to thank WGEL Radio in Greenville for all their help in helping to find homes for the dogs at the Greenville/Bond County dog pound. In addition to advertising our website on the radio, Ellie Kennedy and Julia Jenner, Greenville's Tourism Director, put pictures of the dogs on Channel 3, the local cable channel. Several dogs have found good homes because of their efforts.

A big THANK YOU! from Bond County Adopt-A-Pet and the dogs that you have helped save.
May God Bless You.
